This original postcard is in very good condition. This Vintage Postcard features a Miniature of "Rachel Donelson Jackson" done by "Anna C. Peale" in Washington, D.C., 1815. After the death of his "Beloved Rachel" General Jackson wore this miniature in his bosom every day and, at night, placed it beside his Bible on a little table at his bedside. This postcard measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".
