More Than McCoy

Manufacturer: Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co.
Vintage Robinson Ransbottom stoneware vase or planter. Cool item; the pattern looks like a dragonfly. Incised mark on bottom: RRP Co., Roseville Ohio, No. 211. It is 7.25 tall x 7.25 wide. No chips or cracks; some gouges on bottom dry area and some fissures and gouges in the stoneware as is common on these pieces. This type of item is great for real or faux herb plants. I have a couple that I use on my deck in the summer for growing Rosemary plants. It is vintage but can work in a contemporary or modern décor; especially if you spray paint it 'satin white'. These are old and not bright white, so I spray them to match my décor since I do use my pottery all over my house as well as outdoors! These are well made and much longer lasting than buying pricey junk pottery from high end stores. 10/14
