Copperton Lane Antiques & Collectibles

Circa: 1948
Country of Origin: US
Manufacturer: Bartlett Collins Glass Co
This full size decorated red, white, and blue glass oil or kerosene lamp was made by Bartlett Collins Glass Company. It first appeared in their 1938 catalog, and appeared sporadically in some of their other annual catalogs until 1957. It's complete with wick and frosted glass chimney, measuring 18-1/2 inches tall by 6-1/2" diameter across the base. According to the company's catalogs, capacity of the font is 31 ounces.

The lamp has fired-on decoration - red at the base, with blue Scotty dogs encircling the white font. It's in excellent, probably never used condition. There's no oil or kerosene odor or residue inside the spotless interior, the wick is clean, and the Eagle brass burner has no soot or signs of wear. The decoration is pristine - no scratches, scuffs, or rub marks, and the glass base has no chips, flakes, or other issues. There are some very minor rub marks to the lower edge of the chimney, just from contact with the burner.

I have two lamps available. They are identical in condition, with the exception that one has a slightly singed wick top, although it's the same length and in the same clean condition as the other one. Price is per lamp.
