Circa: 1930's
This is a unique style combination wrench marked "W.E. ROSEL COL. O. 5 IN 1 TOOL PAT. JULY 22, 1919" on the handle area in raise cast lettering. This one is in very good useable condition with no rust, and no noted wear. I am not sure about the 5 uses, but we do see a 13/16" and 1" box wrench at one end, then there is the alligator wrench (for square head nuts and bolts), and the a screwdriver at the other end. So, I guess the 5th use may be a pry bar, or maybe it was a handle for something? Anyway it is unique, the first one we have had! It appears Schulz did have one in his book WRENCHES, and it is number 892 in his book, and he believes that it was made in Columbus Ohio.
