Rosenthal plate with hand-painted rose. The plate is signed "Addie L. Cole" on the back. This is probably an "hobby plate;" during the early 1900s, ladies frequently bought china blanks and painted designs on them. I can't find any info on Ms. Cole, but the artwork is lovely. Approximately 6 3/4 inches in diameter.
