Royal Bayreuth Figural Strawberry Creamer. Porcelain. Germany. c. 1902. Fantastic & Rare! Figural creamer/pitcher in the form of a strawberry. Green leaves at the top form the spout with a vine trailing to the base. The handle is its green stem with more leaves at the base. The body of the strawberry is in muted tones of red. Little white blossom at the top of the handle. Measures approximately 4" tall; 4.75" from spout to handle. Pictured (#539) on p. 65 of "Royal Bayreuth - A Collector’s Guide" by Mary J. Caslin. Hard to find in this condition! CONDITION: Excellent/Near Mint (2 tiny spots of paint misses - just mentioning to be very picky). A real beauty.
