This is an nice clean early 9 linesman's splicing pliers with maker's mark on it that reads "S & H CO. NY." and also is stamp "SWEDISH NEVERT JRN". They are in good++ condition with a very tight hinge, no rust, no damage, little sign of wear on the crimp forms. This style has 5 seperate oval shaped sizes for crimping or splicing applications on the one side. The larger of the single oval shapes is .31 wide, the smaller is .12" wide at the widest point. On the other side is a group of 4 double round but connected together and all these are the same size or about .27" wide each.  There is a end clasp to keep the pliers closed, it works very well. I see very little wear, the serrations inside the two ovals look fine, no rust, nearly polished handles. A unusual style, antique linesman's tool in great condition!
