A Time Remembered

Circa: 1950
Condition: Used
Manufacturer: Sebring Pottery Company/Made in USA
This soup bowl with a beautiful pattern called Serenade Burgundy TS-284 C.D. was made by the Sebring Pottery Company in the USA and is also marked on the back: Warranted 22 K Gold.
Sebring, Ohio was founded by the Sebring brothers, a family from East Liverpool, Ohio. They owned and operated many pottery businesses and at one time Sebring was known as the Pottery Capital of The World. The center transferware decal has a young minstrel serenading young ladies with the burgundy rim and gold floral filigree all around the plate.
In very good condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites, the decal does have wear spots as I have shown in my picture and it measures 1 1/4 inches high and 8 1/4 inches in diameter.
An addition to any Sebring Pottery Collection.
SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions contact me and thank you for looking.
