Copperton Lane Antiques & Collectibles

Circa: 1942
Country of Origin: US
Manufacturer: Vernon Kilns
These four pastel colored 8-1/2 inch rimmed soup bowls are in the Native California pattern by Vernon Kilns. They're hard to find, the pattern was produced for only about five years beginning in 1942. They're on the Melinda shape, designed by Royal Hickman, with a graceful feathery leaf scroll at the rim and a nice semi-matte glaze. There is one plate each in blue and green, two in pink. (Ivory and yellow were the only other colors made in this pattern). The bowls are in excellent condition with no damage, crazing, or utensil marks. Price is for the set of four but I'll consider selling them separately if someone is interested in a specific color.
