Vintage Shawnee Pottery donkey figurine. Adorable hard to find Shawnee pottery animal figurine that the book calls a 'donkey'; however, it looks more like a fawn to me. It is shown on pg. 53 of the book by J. Mangus. This critter is heavy for his size, and well made, and not marked, and the books specifies that this figurine is not marked. It is about 6.25 tall x about 4.5; long; no chips or cracks; just missing a bit of the brown cold paint near its feet, tail and forehead. A very unique Shawnee figurine that is very difficult to find. Guaranteed authentic vintage Shawnee, as are all my items. 3/11
