A scarce Smiley Pig figural water pitcher with gold trim by Shawnee Pottery in fantastic condition. The pig has blue and peach flowers at the neck which are thickly outlined in gold, long closed eyelashes, and dark pink blushed cheeks and nose. The underside is incised Patented Smiley USA. About 8 inches tall by 8 inches wide.

The paint is just about perfect with no scratches or wear other than some mild wear to the gold trim on the handle. There are no chips or damage, and no crazing. The inside has no stains, wear, or signs of use. There are a couple of small, light smears of pink paint under the glaze at the rim, which occurred during manufacture.
