Manufacturer: Poppytrail By Metlox
A lot of five saucers in the Shore Line Pattern from the Poppytrail line By Metlox. Metlox was one of the "Big California Five" tableware producers of Mid-Century tableware. Metlox bought Vernon Mills in the 1950’s. Poppy Trail was produced in 1934 and became one word in 1959. The Shore Line pattern dates to 1953, and the colors reflect that theme. The color of the saucers are: (2) deep sea green – surf chartreuse – wet sand beige – and driftwood brown.
The pottery saucers are square in shape, measure 5-7/8 inches across rim, sit on a 2-1/2 inch round base that is backstamped: Shoreline – Poppytrail – California Made – Metlox. (hard to read on the darker colors)
