Uncle Willie, from the 1920's comic strip "Moon Mullins" by Frank Willard was made in Japan. He is made of bisque and cold painted. "Copyright F.A.S." and "Japan" are incised on his back. He stands 2 ¼" tall. The bisque is in good condition with a factory void on the base making it stand at an angle. There is a little wear to the cold paint and the lines on his pants are faded.
