This is a quality tool steel 1.5 inch wide cutting edge beveled socket chisel marked SPIEGEL GERMANY FINEST QUALITY TOOL STEEL on the steel back.  It's in great shape with no rust, some minor metal staining or darkened surfaces, but not rust, clean, sharp and ready to use.  We do note one corner on the cutting edge is slightly rounded.  The beveled edge in that area is nearly sharp like the end cutting edge.  When we sharpened it, we decided to leave it up to the new owner to sharpen it back further or use it as is.  The hardwood handle is sold not damaged, clean with good leather end cap.  Overall a top quality chisel from Germany!
