This is a nice sharp 1.0 inch chisel marked STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A. on the handle and just STANLEY on the steel. Although this chisel doesn't have the famous EVERLASTING CHISEL name on it, it is called a EVERLASTING CHISEL by Stanley, it does have a very heavy duty feel in hand, and quality of workmanship, just doesn't have the wooden handle. Made to last a life time! It has the same quality steel as the early No. 60 everlasting chisels, and also has the solid, study, metal end cap. As you can see Stanley changed the handle material to a more hard rubber type of handle material which is very durable on some the material was called PERMALOID and Stanley offered it in a few different colors, in this case of this handle is black. This chisel is 7.75 long overall. It is in good++ condition, ready to use condition with very little wear on the metal area, some wear and scratches on the handle, no rust, no damage, good metal end cap, clean! A top quality chisel by a well known maker!
