Circa: 1940-50's
Condition: Good++
Manufacturer: Stanley U.S.A.
Offering this Stanley No. 103, 5.5" long, block plane, with a 1.3" wide cutter, in good condition. It has about 80% original Japanning intact, mostly missing on the cap cover. The cutter is marked with the Stanley rectangular logo, and are about 85% like new, sharp and ready to use, and has good appropiate grooves for the cutter depth adjustment feature (a bit different than most other Stanley block planes). The bare metal surfaces are rust free and have minimal wear. This plane is much like the No. 102, but has the adjustable cutter lever feature, just push down on the lever to feed more cutter into the cut. All in very good working order on this plane. Overall, a good used plane from the 1940's to 50 era!
