Great Expectations Antiques

Circa: 1910's
Condition: Good++
Manufacturer: Stanley Rule & Level Co. New Britian Conn. U.S.A.
This is a nice clean rosewood handled spoke shave marked "STANLEY NO. 67" on the castings, and has a 2" wide cutter that is marked with the V-shaped logo. As with most of these No. 67's, this shave is missing any other attachments than what you see in the picture. Originally there was another bottom plate and a guide/fence, that I don't have. This one is in good++ condition with a good sharp cutter, very nice handles, with good nickel plated ferrules, very good solid handles and threaded ends, can be removed and reset at 90 degrees to make this tool more like a scraper (each handle is marked either L for left, or R for right, this must match the threaded hole mark on the shave main casting, as the Left is a left-hand thread). Overall a nice clean collectible woodworking tool!
