This is a very rare extra thin painted wood zig-zag rule with the Victor Stanley No. 343 mark on it. There is a sweetheart mark and two patent dates marked on it also. The latest patent date is 1917. The condition is good, it's in one piece (these narrow ones are very fragile), there is one tight (still holding firm) crack in one joint area as show in the last picture, otherwise less than normal wear with about 90% yellow paint intact, good to very good markings except where the joint cause the section to rub together, quite a bit of wear in those areas. The nicest I've seen in this Victor style! Very hard to find. Size: 3 foot / 9 sections
