Great Expectations Antiques

Circa: 1940's
Condition: Good+
Manufacturer: THE L.S. STARRETT CO. ATHOL MASS. U.S.A.
This is a nice clean older machinist tool that was designed for inspecting various depths on parts, for general use with a 4" long scale marked THE L.S.S. CO. No. 46 TEMPERED NO. 10. The blade can be mounted in either one of the two slots provided, and adjusted to the depth desired. There is one very small pitted area on the one side of the scale at around the 1/4" area, not back, but I felt I should mention it. Otherwise the tool is very good overall condition. <br>
Also included is the original box in good condition with some clear tape on two of the corners of the top of the box. The box has a good readable label on it for No. 46-A Depth Gage.
A nice clean, handy machinist tool!
