Gerz was established in 1862 but I do not know information on when a beer stein was produced. On the bottom on Stein the is a Incised triangular symbols that reads: Made in Germany -GERZ (I can't read the rest but it appears to say) GETI-1862. Reads on the bottom of handle: EIN VOLLES GLAS DES GASTES SPASS
The stein is about 11 1/4 inches tall 14 1/2" in circumference around the bottom rim. This particular scene shows three men and TWO ladIES around a table. INSIDE IS GLAZED cobalt blue. AREA IN THE MIDDLE DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE GLAZED. No chips or cracks. Lid is stamped with 88 and DBGM AND R OVER M
