Large antique stoneware fruit/jam jar. No chips or cracks; does have glaze skips mostly near bottom rim edge. Identical jar is shown in the book on Monmouth Western Stoneware; pg. 73, and was made by Weir Pottery Co. c:1899-1905. This large jar has incised #44 on bottom. It is 11.5 tall x 7 wide.
