Copperton Lane Antiques & Collectibles

Circa: 1972
Country of Origin: US
Manufacturer: Sunbeam
This American made shiny chrome Sunbeam Mixmaster is the model 100-86659-MMB, produced in the early 1970s. This model is on display at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. It has 12 speeds and comes with beaters and 4 quart stainless steel bowl (not marked Sunbeam but fits the rotating bowl holder perfectly). Mixers are not exactly quiet kitchen appliances, but this one runs more quietly than my own 1990s electric hand mixer. It comes complete with detachable cord, beaters, stand and turntable, plus the 9" diameter by 4-3/4" high bowl.

The mixer runs well on all 12 speeds, and the chrome finish is in super clean and shiny condition - tiny use marks here and there but nothing I'd call a scuff or scratch. The bowl has typical shallow use scratches inside from beater use. One beater is missing the plastic protector disc at the bottom, both beaters have a little rust at the joints (Barkeepers Friend cleanser will remove it). The label for the bowl size lever is missing a small portion of the left side, cutting of the letter S in the word Small. Fedex Ground and UPS Ground are available, email your zip code for rates.
