This is a vintage Takahashi bird brooch I believe is a bluebird. It has blue, cream, brown and black paint. The clasp has push pin style brads. The brooch is beautifully carved and hand painted. When you look closely, you can see each individual stroke of the brush. The brooch measures 1-3/4 inches long and 1 inches wide. The bird has copper wire legs sitting on a tiny branch.
