A stainless pan with a ceramic insert, a metal stand and a burner complete this fondue set for making tabletop sauces and desserts. Pieces of fruit or cake are dipped into sauces or chocolate. This unit can also be used to swirl cheeses for a cheese fondue. Not made for hot oil meat fondues, as the ceramic can crack using very high intense heat.
Marked: Trudeau on burner base and on the heat proof bottom tray / the other pieces have no maker marks.
Size: 7-1/4 inches height, 7-1/2 inches across the ceramic rim – which is 2-1/2 inches deep and holds just over three cups liquid. Stainless pan measures 6-1/2 inches across the rim, and it is 3-1/4 inches deep.
Condition: used, with normal use wear and use scratches, ceramic is good, no chips or cracks, has a nice shine.
Comments: the metal stand can be turned two directions depending on how close you want it above the burner. The stainless pan has two side handles – there is no lid with this set. The stainless pan can be filled with hot water for a double boiler effect.
