Offering this beautiful late 1800's victorian ladies umbrella. The handle is made of rolled gold with ornate curved scrolled fan patterns, center of handle is dark mother of pearl with a center band of gold; this mother of pearl is the deep rich colors of purple, blue, greens, with just hints of the usual white. Handle measures 7 1/2 inches long; chrome tip, chrome tips on the metal spines of umbrella; chrome shaft. The material part and spines are new replacements; 100% nylon; deep chocolate color, very clean, no holes or stains; when open, diameter of umbrella is 35 inches; overall height from top of handle to tip is 30 inches. Has the wrap around strap with chrome snap for closing. Good+++ condition on handle, there is one tiny crack and two panels have small chips, nothing loose, more like surface chips on mother of pearl in the small section under knob, a couple small dents on side of knob from normal use; monogrammed L C T or L C F on top of handle, still a magnificent umbrella, a true work of art, for your collection and use on special occasions!
