Hand made and sculpted tile of a Viking sailing ship. Done in fabulous matte glazes - the ship is purple, the heavenly body a dark salmon, the background a mottled blue, and those colors repeated along the self framing edge. Measuring 6 3/4" long x 5" high, x 1/2" thick. 4 chips to the self framing edge and corners, but not all that noticeable. Signed E. Underhill on the back, this certainly screams Arts & Crafts Movement, alhtough I am unfamiliar with this designer/modeler. (#T-1404)
