This vintage ladies' powder compact is greenish-black alligator skin front and back. Measuring 2-3/4 inches square, the front has applied goldtone initials O M or D M. The interior has a mirror, puff, and a latched cover protecting the powder well. There is no powder inside. The cover door has a shield logo embossed on the front but no manufacturer name. The mirror has a slight ghosting film but no breaks.
