Vintage hand stitched applique quilt. This is a very old quilt, all hand-stitched, and looks like it dates to the 1920-30's, but could be earlier. This quilt is heavy, and the hand-stitching is extremely fine, tiny, tight, and super even. The person who sewed it must have went blind! It has approximately 15-20 stitches per inch, (teeny-tiny). It is in good overall vintage condition, no holes or tears, and just saw one spot on it, but I did launder it already. An almost identical quilt is shown in a book on Mission style furniture & textiles, it just had a different color applique on it and dated to the 1920's.
