Vintage Clown salt and pepper shakers Made in Japan. This is a cute little set of salt and pepper shaker clowns. They are hand painted and glazed and both have their cork stoppers. Marked in black on bottoms, Made in Japan. Circa mid 1940s to early 1950s.

No chips, no cracks, no crazing. Does have some paint wear and some paint spatter from the making. One of the shakers has some black paint on the orange had with two air bubble pockets the paint was missed on. Just as they show in pictures in this listing.
