Vintage Elf Stockinette Face 27 inch Handmade awesome 1960s. This awesome elf reminds me of an elf in a book, but I cannot really recall everything about it. His blue with red polka dot hat is made of Cotton Knit blend and appears like hand woven fabric. On the point of his hat there is a bell that has been a bit crinkled, uncertain why, but still jingles and really appears to me like real silver!! His hair is a fuzzy faux fur type and kind of wild flow. His face, hands and ears are made of a stockinette fabric. Those ears are fantastic. His face is well made with embroidered brows and eye outline with blue embroidered eyeball and a black vinyl with a white embroidered pupil and pink embroidered mouth. His hands are made with the individual fingers and thumb. He is wearing a red cotton shirt with gray cotton vest and dark navy blue shorts with suspenders. Both his vest and suspenders have red carved celluloid buttons. His legs are made of matching fabric matching his hat with the blue with red polka dot woven fabric. His legs do have tiny holes that are either catch holes from drag play use or moth holes. His elf shoes are so awesome and made of a type of black vinyl and they can be removed. Over all this Elf is in excellent condition and unremarkably clean, excluding the snag holes or moth holes as noted on his legs. and some yellowing spots on his vest, which most likely will soak clean. See close up pictures. He is awesome and I feel he may be one of a kind.
