Vintage English display platter. Made by William Robinson Midwinter, Ltd. in Burslem, England. It has a brown backstamp: 'Rural England', which is the pattern name, then, W. R. Midwinter Ltd. England. The backstamp dates it to 1932-1987. The pattern is discontinued. This platter has 2 holes on back rim for hanging or it can be used as a platter. It is 12.25 wide and has no chips or cracks. Some faint crazing on the backside. The front is transferware. Very attractive plate that would be exceptional in a Victorian or traditional style room.
