This is a vintage large silver tone shank button. It celebrates Napoleon Bonaparte and the Battle of Montenotte. It has the goddess Victory holding a sword in her right hand and palm frond and wreath in her left, flying over Italy. It has BATAILLE DE MONTENOTTE / MDCCXCVI written beneath Italy.
