Vintage Merkelbach German beer stein. c:1936-1960's. Very attractive cobalt blue stein, reminiscent of majolica. There are flowers, people, and a phrase on this stein. No chips or cracks. There are some teensy dings in pewter lid, but overall, the condition is really nice. It stands 5.5 tall. Incised mark on bottom: Rein Merkelbach, Hohr-Grenzhausen, #8810, Made in Germany.
