Manufacturer: as described
This brocade tile was made by the Moravian Pottery & Tile Works, of Doylestown, PA., circa 1920. It's a bird sitting in the branches of a tree. Done in high glazes, the bird has an orange breast and the rest of the body is a mottled brown - a deep green is in the recesses. Small chip to his beak and two other small kilns pulls on the sides. Measures 3 1/4" from top to bottom and about 3 1/4" from beak to tail. (#T-1231)
