Manufacturer: Wedgwood China
Lovely small Wedgwood vase out of a home. This is a small bud vase with a bulbous shape cinching in at the neck before flaring outwards at the top. This is fully marked on the underside base with the black Wedgwood urn then in gold stating "Wedgwood, Bone China, Made in England" and the pattern name, "Wild Strawberry". Round standing about 4 3/4 inches in height with a top diameter of 1 1/2 inches, a greatest width of about 2 1/2 inches and a smaller base diameter of about 1 3/4 inches. Weighs about 5 ounces unpacked.

Fine white bone china, this piece is porcelain as it is translucent. Clean white background color decorated around the vase with wild strawberry vines having some pink & light orange/yellow flowers, red ripe strawberries and some light orange yellow color strawberries that are still ripening, leaves in green and what we would call a light brown color, and vines in the light brown color. The upper edge is trimmed in gold.

We've provided 8 images to show from all sides, including a close-up of the manufacturer marking. Please note that the camera lighting causes white "hot spot" reflections on the smooth glossy surface, so we've included some images without the camera light (particularly when showing the manufacturer marking the abundance of white porcelain around this can make this harder to read with the camera light). Also, on the 4th image you will see some red marks on one of the pink flowers....those are now gone and not there. We did not notice these until listing the vase and then were able to clean these off gently, so nothing to worry about (sorry). Please use the zoom feature to examine closely.

Very nice vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. This piece looks bright and clean, inside and out, so it may not have been used. There are some small surface scratches (likely from cleaning/handling) which we can see on very close inspection among/on some of the leaves and on the white china, nothing bad nor you would see on display or in use, but there if you go looking closely. There is possibly some other minor age surface wear but nothing bad here at all.

A terrific addition to any collection of Wedgwood china or a grouping of the Wild Strawberry pattern, or a collection related to fruit & strawberries.

Please note: We are listing two other pieces of this Wedgwood Wild Strawberry pattern, a planter and another small vase (please see our other listings). Should you be interested in more than one piece, we would be pleased to ship them together in one package to save you on postage. However, please contact us prior to entering the order as the system will not calculate the savings you should get from shipping more than one piece in the same box (it will calculate the shipping as if each is shipped separately). We would be glad to calculate that for you.
