This is a very nice vintage adjustable spanner wrench for machine spindle nut and alike. It is marked J.H. WILLIAMS & CO. BUFFALO N.Y. U.S.A. 471 3/4-2IN ADJUSTABLE SPANNER". This one is in good++ condition, very clean, no rust, has a slight arc in the handle area, may be original, no sure, as we have never seen one of these early spanners before. It has no paint or chrome on it, no pitting and no damage. It measures about 6" long. A hard to find spanner, by a well known maker!
