This is a nice old heavy duty 7/16" wide chisel marked "T. H. WITHERBY WARRENTED" on the steel (the Witherby name is hard to see, light stamp at the factory by the looks of it). It is 12.4" long overall. It has been used but is in good working order. It has a very sharp cutting edge, no rust no damage on the steel. The handle is in very good condition and appears to be ash w/leather cap end, very solid, clean, fits good, a few specks of black paint here and there noted on the handle.
