This is a dancer's fan to be used in performing the reperttoire of Kanze School of Japanese Dancing. The wood block print depicts the grand view of Ordori Park. At the top corners are lily-of-valley, the flower of the city Sapporo and the liac, the tree of the city. Takuya Tamamura is the artist of this beautiful work. He lives in Sapporo and one of the most celbrated wood block print artists of today. Fan is 13" long and 18" wide. Still in original box with the story of the fan on rice paper. In excellent shape.
