WOODEN ARCHITECTURAL MYTHICAL FACE

Size: 8 Inches Tall x 7 Inches Wide x 2 Inches Deep.

Age: 19th Century.

Condition: Good. There are a few minor age cracks or they happened during the carving.
One is around the area under the bottom lip
and a few around the area that drapes down from the side of the cheek area near the nose and mouth. There is also a minor indent at the end of the nose. This is a very solid
piece. There are two holes on the back at the top for hanging.


This is a very handsome piece. It is from an Estate Sale and comes from a mansion on Long Island, New York. There is a good weight to it (2 lbs.) and it is very solid. Please note that the color is a deep solid brown, the reddish streaks are from the camera flash.
