Glass thermometer in the original, wood, finger joint box with the sliding cover. The thermometer is marked Wright-Ziegler Co., Boston, Mass. U.S.A. It has red markings on the side and some read, 32 freezing, 62 churning, 85 cheese and 150 scalding. The set is 1 1/4 inches high, 10 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The top knob is broken off but the thermometer is still all sealed and ready for use. This is an unusual set to find and sold just as found.
