Patented Tole Painted Iron Doorstop For sale is a patented antique painted iron doorstop. c:1846. This item feels like solid iron; has tole style painting on it, and raised mark: M.A. Boone, #1, Pat'd Dec. 5, 1846. It looks sort of like a Dutch shoe shaped sad iron. Antique Tole Painted Assortment For sale are three antique tole painted items. All purchased at different places and times, but all are similarly painted so I put them together. First is the tea kettle with stamped date: 'Aug. 1929' on handle. It has some tiny holes on lid. Great display items, but none of these items should be used for food/liquid, (due to old tin, graniteware, rust inside spice jars). Next is an antique milk can; 9 inches; heavy can with wood bail handle and painted exterior. It has a fruit motif, and you can see the white enamel on the interior of can. Vintage Nash Co. Tole Painted Metal Tray For sale is a vintage Nash Co. tole painted metal tray. Very nice older style 'tole', (decorated metal), tray, (not antique, but is vintage, age est: 1930's-40's). It features a fruit motif, (pear, grapes, leaves). It is showing its age, some paint loss, scratches, rust, but is still very pretty. Backside is very badly scratched, and has remnants of a foil label. I can read New York, and I think it says F. Nash Co. N.Y. also. This tray is 15.5 wide. Great if you have an old world style kitchen or dining room to display it in!

Antique Cast Iron Fairbanks Scale For sale is an antique cast iron Fairbanks scale. Very attractive old scale with hand painted flowers/fruit on one side and two round weights. It is marked Fairbanks on base, and on middle part: Cary 6 lbs.; bottom: HKA 1, No. 3. There is also a #1 lb. and #4 lbs. disc. It is in good vintage condition and is 6.5+ tall x 15.5 long x 6 deep. Not entirely sure what type of scale this is, but it makes a great ecclectic accessory item in an office or library! Antique Decorated Tin Spice Set For sale is an awesome antique decorated tin spice box set. c.late 1800's. This is a 'japanned' tin spice box with 6 spice containers. The exterior of this box has red and green paint on the top; even though outer box is in aged condition, (scratched up), the interior spice tins look pretty darn good for their age! The spice names are legible, and display rather well with the lid open. The names on the tins are: Mace, Nutmeg, Ginger, Cloves, Cinnamon, and Allspice. Antique Toleware Spice Set For sale is an antique toleware spice set. Great shelf display item! Very attractive antique japanned tin tole painted box with 6 spice containers. The exterior of this box is pretty rusty and scratched up. But the interior tins are lovely! All have flowers painted on them and display very well with the lid open! The box is 3 tall x 9 x 6. Age est: 1800's-early 20th C. It also has a slot for a spice grater on interior lid. I put an antique spice grater in the slot which works well, but is not the original grater. I do know what the original one looks like and will keep my eye out for it! A great old spice set for your kitchen collection! (see L. Vintage Fine Arts Tole Painted Tray For sale is a vintage Fine Arts tole painted tray. Not an antique tray, but is vintage; looks shiny in the pics, but it is not really shiny, my camera illuminates metal objects. This metal tray has handles, and original foil label on back: Fine Arts Studio, Hand Painted, Phila. 47 PA. Age est: 1930's-50's. Most of the cold paint is intact. It has one area near the top rim that is missing some of the black paint and it is a tad rusty in that spot. Very pretty tray to use or display!

Antique Toleware Tray For sale is an antique toleware tray. c:late 19th, very early 20th. Antique tray with 2 handles, and is 24.75 long x 16.5 wide and rolled edges. It has some condition flaws as you can see, but still attractive despite those aging flaws. This tray features roses and daisies and has two handles, and a fancy 2 inch open metal border. Three of the corners are coming apart on the mesh border, (the soddering has loosened), you could re-sodder those if you have a soddering gun; it also has some paint loss, and some rust spots. Vintage Tole Painted Metal Candleholders For sale are great looking vintage tole painted metal candleholders. Both for one price!. Very attractive and look like they are antique, but were repainted in the 1940's. One of them is signed 'Redecorated in 1947 by Charlotte M. Cooke' in gold script. Other one appears to have been repainted also. Both are in good vintage condition and have eyeholes for hanging. Repainting old metal objects was very common; nothing was ever tossed out!
