Super fun!!! Mint, Dick Tracy inflatable "Bop Bag" in an almost mint box colorfully decorated with pictures of the good guy bopping the bad guys. It was made in 1990 by Imperial Toys. Let the worlds' greatest detective help rid you of your stresses.
Sawyer's # 965abc from 1955. The packet contains 3 great condition reels (no booklet was originally included). The price reflects the missing top part of the envelope.
Sawyers # A123 from the vacationland series. Packet contains 3 mint reels (no booklet was originally included). One view is the S.S.LURLINE, a cruise ship I'm sure no longer exists.
Sawyers Viewmaster # 925/27 from 1951. Good condition packet contains 3 mint reels of Elephants, Chimpanzees, and Lions. (no booklet was originally included).
Sawyers # 9376 dated 1957. Single story packet contains 3 mint reels and a mint 10 page story booklet. The envelope is all there but has some light pencil writing on back and a crease tear on the top flap.
Sawyers # MICH 1, 2 and 3, are dated 1955. Great reel of Detroit City and 2 others highlighting points of interest in the state. The 3 reels and booklet are in mint condition. The packet, although roughly open, is otherwise in really good condition.
Very nice pair of rice bowls hand painted with bright orange and yellow flowers on the front and a budding orange flower on the back. The porcelains measure 4 1/2" in diameter x 2 1/2" deep. No chips or cracks. Marked in red "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN" and "ISCO" in a red triangle.
A pair of very pretty peach and yellow cotton guest or tea towels. Open work at the bottom and fancy stitching along the edges make these as dainty as can be. They are 17" long x 9" and in perfect condition. Use your imagination with these.
Dainty red embroidery on a tan background are featured on this pair of very crisp, linen tea towels and I don't believe were ever used. There is a very small rust stain where I think the original price tag once was, or else the set would be perfect. The towels measure 13 1/2" x 20" and the price reflects their condition.
Lustreware pitcher in mottled purple blue, an unusual color. It is 6 1/4" high x 4 1/4" wide and was probably used for milk. It is beautifully hand painted and it's front design is a pretty floral transfer. Marked "Bavaria".
Victorian Rose bowl in an unusual chartreuse to pale, pale blue color, with hand painted florals. There are eight crimps in the top and the bowl has a nice soft satiny feel. The bottom has nice wear with a fully ground pontil. This is definitely not an Italian or English repro! The bowl is 5 1/2" x 4 1/2" and in great condition. There is just one tiny rough spot from what may be a burst bubble, that's it.
An extremely clean 2nd printing of the 1959 First Edition. All of the book's 96 pages have colored line illustrations by Peter Spier and there are 16 additional pages of full color photos. Sadly, the frontise page of Betty's classic has come away from the spiral, otherwise, it is in beautiful condition.
Look! Ma! No hands!! This is a really good looking Aris, "ISOTONER DRIVING GLOVES", counter display in nearly mint condition. The black hard plastic background has automotive graphics and is 13" high, 10" wide, and stands on a 6" long bent foot. The heavy metal "hands" extend out 1" to 2 1/2 ", sort-of 3D style, and are securely bolted to the rear. Dry your wet gloves, hang stuff from the "hands", or, just add it to your funky decor. The display came from a family-owned department store in Dover, N.H., that recently went out of business.
This is the largest, most complete “Old Spice” Shulton set we’ve ever seen! The vanity box measures 8” x 13” and is 2 3/4“ high. The contents are totally unused and retain their original bright colored coverings and decorations. The set features: 1 1/2 ozs. of Sachet in a 2 7/8” sealed, stoppered bottle; 2 3/4 ozs. Bath Salts in a 3 1/4” unopened shaker-type tube container; a 3” x 2” x 1 1/8” cake of Toilet Soap; a hand painted, mini bottle filled with 1/3 ozs. of perfume nestled in its’ own 2 1/2” x 2 1/4” x 1 1/8” oval box lined with candy stripe fabric and edged in old, red rick-rack; 4 ozs. of Dusting Powder in an unopened 4 1/4” dia. x 2 1/8” high box complete with unused puff; and, lastly, 4 oz if Toilet Water in a beautifully hand painted, stopered glass bottle (about a 1/4 lost to evaporation?). The only flaws in this wonderful package are the mirror, inset in the cover for the powder and Toilet Water has a small amount of discoloration and the upper right
This is a great breakfast set decorated with a lovely Lily of the Valley design made in England by Johnson Brothers. It is marked “Old English” which refers to the nice ruffled edge pattern of the china rather than the name of the decoration and the “B” mark indicates it is from the Bursalem factory dating the set to around 1900. It consists of a 4 3/4” high, 2 1/2c teapot with lipped lid, a 8” plate with 5 7/8” x 2 3/4” domed cover with knob and a 4 1/2” high double egg cup with 3” and 2” diameter ends. The teapot’s ruffled rim, the lid’s lip and ruffled edge, the plate and the domed cover are perfect. To prevent any disappointments, we do need to identify the following areas of wear: use wear to the plates’ center decoration; the teapot has a very small nick on the bottom of the spout and a hairline (that does not leak) at the base; the egg cup has three 1/8” to 1/4” hairlines and four small nicks in the larger ruffled rim. Even so, we still consider the condition to be very good, and very useable. We have never seen this Lily of the Valley, or the domed plate in any other Johnson Brothers patterns, so they must be pretty unusual.
Here’s looking at you, kid!! Say these two very intense pussy cats as they look out from their frames at all who pass by. These pastel portraits are signed by the artist, Pamela Burrell, and dated 1983, so not exactly antique, but great collectibles for cat fanciers. Each picture with the frame measures 12 1/2” x 10 1/2”. Price is for the pair.
Wonderful piece of cut glass..imagine it filled with fruit, flowers or Holiday decorations. This basket has unusual horizontal facets giving it an Art Moderne look. There is a scalloped rim and a starburst design on the base. The basket measures 9 1/2” long, 7 1/2” wide and 9” high. There is a tiny etched mark in one of the facets which could be the designers signature. However, we have been unable to decipher it. Basket is perfect, free from any nicks of chips. We guess it to be at least 70 years old, but the design is truly timeless.
A very elegant young lady indeed. Kenzie is an African American 11 1/2” fashion doll with ‘miles and miles’ of lovely, cascading curls, who was produced by Avon in 1990 . She’s ready to step out of her mint box (one crease on bottom flap) and sealed plastic bag and go off to a party or prom in her stunning pink satin gown and matching pink shoes complete with pearls and lace gloves accessories (Barbie would be happy to share outfits with her). A nice addition to your collection of vintage fashion dolls.
