PRETTY CIGAR FELT OR FLANNEL, THIS ONE COMES FROM THE SERIES OF WORLD FLAGS, SHOWING FLAG OF PERU, Measuring about 8 1/4 x 5 1/2, These felts or flannels are charming pinned to a string, used as a area rugs for doll houses or lovely framed. They were often incorporated into quilts, which are highly collectible. Just one makes an interesting gift and grouping makes great visual statement.

27 different cigarette silks, each sold separately, marked as coming from Egyptienne Straights Cigarettes at the bottom. Show individual flags and the corresponding name from different cities or countries. Many are also marked along the top with Factory No. 2153 Third Dist. N.Y. Size about 2 1/8 x 3 1/4 inches with varied condition. Most have tight side edges while many have fraying along the top and bottom, with some a lot more than others. Some are slightly dirty or soiled or have spotting, and several have creasing or folded bottom or top edges. St. Lawrence University (in New York) Cigarette Silk distributed as a giveaway with Egyptienne Luxury Cigarettes. The silk is marked at the bottom Egyptienne Luxury and at the top with Factory No. 7 3rd District State NY, with the last a bit hard to read on this silk but we know this is what it says from others which we received with it that say the same thing. Measures about 3 1/8 x 1 3/4 inches. Slightly dirty appearance with the remains of a former horizontal fold and slight fraying at top and bottom; also slightly dirty appearance on backside.
