This unusual piece of early American glass is called a ship tumbler, done in the Ashburton pattern. It is 1/2 pint size, flint glass, made circa 1850, and has a pressed handle. Measuring 4" high by 2 1/2" in diameter, this was made by Bryce Mckee (Pittsburgh) or by Boston and Sandwich Glass Company. There is a small flake on the inside lip. The condition is generally very good. (#3137A)
