This handsome patch shows the Trylon and Perisphere, which were the symbols of the 1939-1940 World's Fair. They represented the "World of Tomorrow" theme of the 1939/1940 New York World's Fair. The Trylon, a triangular tower, measured 610 feet high, and the Perisphere, a globe, measured 180 feet in diameter.
