This is a nut dish or an ashtray from a bar on the famous old British liner, Queen Elizabeth, when she was still in service in the early 1960’s. She carried tens of thousands of American troops during WWII and was the world’s largest ocean liner for decades.

The canoe design went with the theme of the bar. Glazed red clay ware with the ship’s name on both sides of the canoe. On one side it says "The Queen Elizabeth" and on the other side is the ship’s name in French…."La Reine Elizabeth." Maybe the bar had a Canadian theme. Interestingly, it is marked on the bottom: "Canuck Ware, Canada."

Size: 7 inches long x 3 inches wide. Condition is like new, though its definitely old.
