Lidded Strawberry Canister, California Originals #8487, Vintage 1980's. This canister measures 7 1/4 tall to the top of the lid, 5 1/4 high without the lid, and 5 1/2 wide. It is a very pretty bright red strawberry with green leaves and a brown stem as a handle. California Originals started in 1945 as Heirlooms of Tomorrow . The company went out of business in 1982. The stem/lid has been repaired and there is a scratch in the paint at the point of repair. It is otherwise in good condition and marked Cal. Orig. 8487 U.S.A."
Ashtray, California Pottery #678, Vintage 1960's. This ashtray measures 8 3/4 by 6 by 1 1/2 . It has six slots for the cigarettes. The ashtray is in very good vintage condition with the Calif. U.S.A. mark.

Cream Pitcher, Franciscan Ware, Made in California, 1950's. This pink cream pitcher is approximately 3 high and 5 1/2 from handle to spout. It is in excellent condition with the Franciscan Ware mark on the base.
This is an exquisite pair of Roadrunner Statues made by California Originals of Torrence Calif. They are a green drip glaze. The pair stand 12 1/4 high and are 8 at the widest part. Both pieces have the original paper label on the tail. I find no damage to either bird. These are quite a find for the collector.
Swan Wall Pocket Planter/Vase #635. This beautiful swan is 7 tall and 7 wide. It is lavishly trimmed in gold over a beautiful warm blue. The piece is meant for wall hanging because there are two holes on the back. Otherwise, it can be treated as a figurine or vase by standing it up on its base. It is in excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or other damage. The back side is marked California Originals #635 (see photo).
Flower Pot, California Originals, No. 471. This hard-to-find flower pot is beautiful. It is 6 tall and 7 1/4 in diameter. The outside of the pot is ridged and decorated with beautiful roses under the glaze. It is trimmed in a warm brown and the inside and outside are speckled with the same brown color. The pot is in good condition--no chips, cracks, or crazing--and the bottom has the Calif. Orig. U.S.A. mark as well as the number 471.
Lidded Casserole, No.144, California Originals. This beautiful covered casserole, made by California Originals USA, measures 5 tall and is 7 ½ wide rim to rim. It's decorated in awesome colors of brown, bright orange, and yellow. The outside of the bowl is brown in color and slightly ribbed. A very decorative vintage piece in which to serve your veggies. It is in great condition. There are no chips or cracks and is marked Cal. Orig. #144 U.S.A.
Vintage Oval Bowl, California Originals #764. This beautiful pink and gold-flaked oval bowl is 16 long, 5 wide and 2 3/4 tall. It has a scalloped edge and is shaped into sections, kind of like a leaf, with a solid 6 1/4 base. Other than one minute little glaze flek, it is in excellent condition - no chips or cracks. It has the Cal Originals U.S.A. #764 mark on the bottom.
Lidded and Handled Casserole Dish, California Originals #239. This handled casserole measures 8 1/2 in diameter and 12 from the handle. It is approximately 8 tall to the finial. California Originals is best known for its cookie jars but it also made many figurines and planters as well as lazy Susans and, rarely, as in this case, a handled-lidded casserole. California Originals was sold to Roman Ceramics in 1979, and it closed three years later. This casserole is beautifully decorated with Aster-like flowers. CONDITION: There are several little manufacturer-done circle defects on the left side of the bowl near handle and a small dark spot(see photo) plus a tiny indentation on the green edge of the lid. These are all under the glaze. There is a tiny fleabite on the edge of the casserole. Aside from that, the piece is in very good vintage condition. It is incised Cal Orig 239 USA .
Salt long and 2 high. A very pretty bright red strawberry with green leaves and a stem at one end. California Originals started in 1945 as Heirlooms of Tomorrow . The company went out of business in 1982. The stem at the end of one of the shakers has a pinhead sized paint flek on the underside, otherwise they are in excellent condition, clean with stoppers intact.

Relish tray, California Originals, Leaves, No. 108. This huge relish tray measures approximately 15 1/2 by 14 1/2 . There are four sections in this dish. It is a beautiful shade of deep coral pink and the edges and stem (handle) are trimmed in gold. What makes it so lovely is the embossing of the veins in the leaves throughout the inside of the dish and around the outside edges. There is only a very tiny paint little paint flake (more of a rough edge) on one gold leaf. It is otherwise in excellent condition and incised Calif Orig #108 USA .

There are four of these bowls available; all are in good condition except that one has a paint chip on the underside of the handle--not visible unless you turn the bowl upside down. This is a beautiful pot from California Pottery. In shades of brown and tan this will blend nicely with any décor. It stands about 7 ¼ inches tall and is about 8 inches in diameter and it widest point (about in the middle). Spring planting season is here so get this lovely piece now. The Bottom reads CALIF USA 192. This baby is mint. It doesn t look as though it has ever been used.
This wonderful 10 1/2 x 5 1/2 bowl is in mint condition. It is shaped like a leaf and decorated in shades of dark brown. The bottom says CALIF USA and has a 14 on it.
This beautiful 3 piece chip and dip set is a wonderful example of California Original art pottery from the 50's. It is an artist combination of red, orange, gold and blue. It measures 15 inches in diameter with a 6 1/2inch center bowl. The chip trays are marked 303 Cal. Orig 579. In excellent condition, it is a wonderful collector's piece.
