Circa: mid-1900's Condition: Good++ Manufacturer: BMC MFG. CO. BINGHAMTON N.Y.
This is an early vise-grip type pliers wrench, in very good useable condition, clearly marked with the maker's name. It is marked BMC MFG. CO. BINGHAMTON N.Y. PATENT No. 2388580. It is 7" long overall. There is an incremented jaw capacity adjustment scale, from 1/4-3/4" to preset the size you need. Overall in very good condition, no rust, or damage, good jaws, and jaw serrations (teeth). Some minor wear and tiny dings. The jaw adjustment on this works smoothly, good threads. It may have been black oxide finish originally, if so some has worn off. The red handle appears to be hard rubber. A nice one! |
