Circa: 1950
Manufacturer: McCoy Pottery Co.
Vintage McCoy Pottery hanging basket vase. Ivy pattern. Shown on pg. 233, Vol. 1 of Hanson's book. The three ridges along the sides of it are to hold chains or rope for hanging. It also is freestanding. It is not marked and the book doesn't note any marks. It is 6.75 wide x 4 tall. No cracks; it does have a tiny rough spot on the bottom; it might be a tiny fleabite; 3 stilt marks, and some clay waste. One piece of clay waste is on the top rim and it is a blue color, see magnified closeup. It is not as big as the photo shows it. Its a great piece to use or just display! 8/19
