This is a super nice clean 17" long, double speed breast drill. Marked "MILLERS FALLS CO. GREENFIELD MASS. MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 120A" on the crank handle. It comes with a 1/2" capacity three jaw drill chuck that holds straight shank drills. This breast drill has about 80% of both the red and black paint, most of the gold and black label is intact on the 5" diameter crank gear wheel. The rosewood stain on the handles, is mostly intact, some minor wear and tiny dings on the wood, but they are solid, well attached and look nice. The wear is minor on the handles, some minor scratches and dings, very solid. The breast plate can be locked in is various positions for best application. The speeds are changed by moving the crank wheel for one from one position to the other. The crank wheel pin is held in place by a spring loaded clip, and is in very good working order also. All the gears, spindles, ball bearings, are in great shape. The chuck threads jaws, and main body, all in very good working order, some scratches and a few tiny dings noted on the exterior of the chuck, but no rust or damage, very clean. A very well made, medium/heavy duty drill, in great shape, and a good looking tool too, by a well known maker!
